The condition descriptions are in the format xx / yy where xx is the condition of the sleeve or cover and yy is the condition of the Record or CD. The gradings used are based on those from the UK "Record Collector" magazine, and are summarized below. Please be aware that all gradings and conditions are based on a visual inspection.

Sleeve Condition Disc Condition
- There is no sleeve. Records will be supplied in a paper sleeve, CDs in a CD case or Plastic Cover.    
Sealed The disc is in its original packaging and is unopened. The disc can be assumed to be mint, but has not been checked as package never opened.    
M The sleeve is in Mint condition - ie looks new M The disc is in Mint condition - ie looks new and unplayed.
NM The sleeve is in Near Mint condition - ie looks virtually new. There could be tiny blemishes on the sleeve / cover NM The disc is in Near Mint condition - ie looks virtually new. The disc may have been played and could have a fingerprint etc,
Ex The sleeve is in Excellent condition - ie it looks Good There could be small blemishes on the sleeve / cover, but no tears / significant creases / marks etc Ex The disc is in Excellent condition - The disc may have been played and there may be light surface scratches, but these will not have a huge detrimental affect on playing. On CDs they will have no affect.
VG The next level down - Very Good. The sleeve is basically intact, but mat have marks where a price label has been removed, or creases where it has been folded, or ringware. VG The next level down - Very Good. The record / CD is playable, but has more significant scraches or marks. CD should still play with no problem, but records may have more hiss and crackle.
G Good. Sleeve may have small tears or have been taped. The general appearance is a bit battered, but still representative of the original packacking. There may be writing on the sleeve. G Good. More scratches on disc or writing on labels. CDs may require cleaning before paying, records will have crackles and could jump on bigger scratches.
F Fair. The sleeve is present, but no value should be attached to it. Not in good condition! F Fair. For collector's only to own the disc. Don't expect any pleasure from the playing experience!
